iPhone and iPad VPN Issues Case 1: I fix my VPN issue by install the new upgrade. Case 2: iPhone VPN hung on "connecting..." forever Case 3: can't access the Internet after I establish the VPN. I found my compnay has a policy to block to access the Internet when using VPN. Case 4: Our company use Proxy so that I work it work by setup the proxt service. this link may help. How to configure HTTP Proxy in iPad
Case 5:
Connected to VPN over 3G without any problems. However, I could not
connect the iPhone to any IP addresses of my company. Like most
companies, my company uses 10.xxx.xxx.xxx as internal IP addresses.
Now, remember, the iPhone 3G interface IP address is given from the
carrier and is part of the carrier's internal IP address.
Unfortunately, both AT&T and Verizon also use 10.xxx.xxx.xxx for 3G
interface IP address. They simply block any connections to the
10.xxx.xxx.xxx space. This is why the VPN over 3G on my iPhone
doesn't work. I have two iPhones: one with AT&T and the other with
Verizon. They both behave the same. Too bad. But, VPN over WLAN does
work in most cases unless I hit the 10.xxx.xxx.xxx conflict again.
Hope this helps.
