    Step 2: On Phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Run Image Edge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. If this is you first time to connect the phone to Sony Camera, tap Camera Connection\/Registration. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Tap Register New Camera.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Scan the code on Sony Camera. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Using NFC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Install and update the Imaging Edge Mobile app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Turn on the smartphone’s NFC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. On the camera, navigate to Menu > Network > Smartphone Connect > Smartphone Connection > On.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Touch the smartphone to the camera for 1\u20132 seconds.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Using a QR code<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. On the camera, navigate to Menu > Network > Smartphone Connect > Connection to display the QR code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Open the Imaging Edge Mobile app and select Connect with a new camera.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Scan the QR code on the camera.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Select OK when prompted to connect.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          • The camera’s SSID and password are registered to the smartphone after scanning the QR code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • If the smartphone is connected to a VPN, it may interfere with the connection to the camera.\u00a0Disabling the VPN may help.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
