Vienna is the capital and largest city of
Austria. it has the second largest number of German speakers
after Berlin.
Apart from being regarded as the City of Music because of its
musical legacy, Vienna is also said to be "The City of Dreams".
Major tourist attractions include the imperial palaces of the
Hofburg and Schönbrunn (also home to the world's oldest zoo,
Tiergarten Schönbrunn) and the Riesenrad in the Prater. Cultural
highlights include the Burgtheater, the Wiener Staatsoper, the
Lipizzaner horses at the spanische Hofreitschule, and the Vienna
Boys' Choir, as well as excursions to Vienna's Heurigen district
Döbling.
There are also more than 100 art museums, which together attract
over eight million visitors per year. The most popular ones
are Albertina, Belvedere, Leopold Museum in the Museumsquartier,
KunstHausWien, BA-CA Kunstforum, the twin Kunsthistorisches
Museum and Naturhistorisches Museum, and the Technisches Museum
Wien, each of which receives over a quarter of a million
visitors per year.

The Belvedere is an historic building
complex in Vienna, Austria, consisting of two Baroque palaces
(the Upper and Lower Belvedere), the Orangery, and the Palace
Stables。
Prince Eugene of Savoy (1663-1736),
successful general and art connoisseur, had Belve-dere garden
palace built by Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt as his summer
residence – at the time it was still outside the gates of the
city.
This baroque architectural jewel consists
of two palaces (Upper and Lower Belvedere), which today house
Austrian art from the Middle Ages to the present day.
This period of prosperity followed on from
the commander-in-chief Prince Eugene of Savoy's successful
conclusion of a series of wars against the Ottoman Empire.
Schönbrunn Palace is a World Cultural
Heritage site and Austria's most-visited sight. The baroque
total work of art consisting of palace and gardens was for
centuries the property of the Habsburgs and is today largely in
its original condition. Visitors will find numerous attractions
here, from a tour through the authentically furnished
residential and ceremonial rooms of the Imperial Family in the
palace, to the maze and the labyrinth in the gardens and a
separate Children's Museum.
Schönbrunn Palace (German: Schloss
Schönbrunn [ʃøːnˈbʁʊn]) is a former imperial summer residence
located in Vienna, Austria. The 1,441-room Baroque palace is one
of the most important architectural, cultural, and historical
monuments in the country. Since the mid-1950s it has been a
major tourist attraction. The history of the palace and its vast
gardens spans over 300 years, reflecting the changing tastes,
interests, and aspirations of successive Habsburg monarchs.
Vienna has an extensive transportation network with a unified
fare system that integrates municipal, regional and railway
systems under the umbrella of the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region
(VOR). Public transport is provided by buses, trams and 5
underground metro lines (U-Bahn). There are also more than 50
S-train stations within the city limits. Trains are operated by the ÖBB.
The city forms the hub of the Austrian railway system, with services to
all parts of the country and abroad. The railway system connects Vienna
with other European cities, like Munich, Venice, Budapest, Prague,
Bratislava and Zürich
