How to create a new network location in Mac Lion

1. Login as local admin.
2. Open the Network from System Preferences.
3. If it is locked, click the lock to authenticate to Network preferences.
4. In the Locations menu, select Edit Location.



5. Click + sign to add a new location.



6. Name the location and click Done.


7. Configure the network connection (using DHCP in this example) and click Connect.


8. Now, you should have the network connection.
