  iPad can't access the internet cases

1. Case 1: The user has iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G, if he connects to the home wireless, he can access the internet. However, if he uses 3G, the Safari gives the following message: "Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet".

Troubleshooting: The problem is that my AT&T assigned 169.254.x.x. IP that is not good IP address. Call AT&T support to fix it. Please refer to this gage to check IP settings: How to check IP address in iPad

Case 2: The iPad gets wireless signal, but can't access any web site.

Troubleshooting: Other wireless devices have the same issue. We found the DHCP doesn't setup right and assign incorrect DNS. Please refer to this gage to check the TCP/IP settings: iPad Wireless Configuration

Case 3: The iPad gets wireless signal, but can't access any web site.

Troubleshooting: Other wireless devices can access the Internet. We found the wireless router has web filter settings to block iPad access the Internet.

Case 4: I receive strong signal, but can't access the Internet. The fix is disabled the SPI firewall on the router.

Case 5: I fixed it by upgrading wireless firmware.

Case 6: The client can access the Internet at home but office.
